Theo, a mandolin prodigy with a literal eleventh finger, and Petra, a violin virtuoso who is absolutely done with all of this, are the brightest sparks in a family compound where harmony means obedience, the matriarch rules with a smile and a threat, and the enforcer moves bodies with the quiet efficiency of a man who has moved bodies before. When a talent agent glimpses their rare chemistry and the possibility of TheoPatra — a duo act beyond the compound's walls — the two begin secretly plotting their escape around a slot at the Brisbane Music Festival. But freedom turns out to be more complicated than a setlist, and darker forces inside the family have no intention of letting them go quietly.
